Cynthia Lynn studied sculpture and printmaking at the Cleveland Institute of Art and received a B.A. in Fine Arts with a minor in Theatre at Kent State University. Cynthia began specializing in scenic design during her time at Kent State, having first been a scenic artist, and then set designer, for a variety of Kent State Theatre productions. Following graduation, Cynthia began her career as a collaborative artist in the fields of interior design, theatre production, and museum exhibition. In 2006, she oversaw the design and undertook the decorative painting work for the exhibition Lace: The Art of Needle and Bobbin for Kent State University's fashion museum. Additionally, she has completed a number of mural commis-sions for private residences working for award-winning Sroka Designs of Washington, D.C.
