Kent Reads with Babacar M'Baye
Celebrate Black History Month at Kent Reads! Babacar M'baye will read excerpts from, The Trickster Comes West: Pan-African Influence in Early Black Diasporan Narratives. Published by the University Press of Mississippi in 2009, its synopsis can be found at his website.
Babacar M'Baye is an assistant professor of English and Pan-African studies at Kent State University. His work has appeared in Journal of African Literature and Culture, Journal of Pan-African Studies, New England Journal of History, and other publications.
The Kent Reads, Kent Writes series is a free event and is open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
