Kent’s a City with Direction!
owntowns tell great stories, and downtown Kent is no exception. The downtown provides visitors with insights into who we are, where we have been, and where we are going as a community.
It’s a point of pride – which is why the future of Kent is so important.
In a world of strip malls and big box outlets, Kent’s downtown stands apart with its unique expression of commerce, culture and community character. More than any one store or restaurant, it’s the combined downtown experience that makes Kent a destination. Kent has historic features, an abundance of green space, art and music. A flowing river features a wooded western bank, forming Riveredge Park, where folks explore the river’s edge, fish, canoe and kayak.
The community is working hard to plan for the future of downtown Kent. Featured here is a brief overview of
New downtown offices of Davey Tree Expert Company
New Kent Hotel & Conference Center
New PARTA Multi-Modal Center
New downtown AMETEK offices (top 2 floors)
